I just got back from the Harvest Festival at the New Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, NJ. The event was great with live music playing in the background.
We were immediately greeted by the animals where you had the option to ride the horse/pony for just $3.00. They also had a tent filled with guinea pigs, rabbit and a live show of actual baby chicks hatching out of their egg shells.
The one booth we were very amazed by was the bat booth. They had live snakes, lizard, turtles and of course bats ;). The park was filled with vendors, farm stands, food trucks and small carnival was also on site. If you don't have a chance to go today definitely go tomorrow. The kids and I had an amazing time.
