Back to School Outfits with RUUM

The nearest RUUM Store is located at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY. The selections in store is by far better than what is offered online.When I can't make the trip to the store I usually shop online and for the most part they have special discounts. I have selected two outfits for both him and her below.

HER:

I live in North Jersey and I hear the weather is for first day of school is going to be super hot. With that being said I wanted the first outfit to be cool for the warm weather awaiting us. I saw the Geo Print shorts and was instantly in love with the variety in color as well as design. To give it a more chic look I chose the yellow silk tank. It can be worn with sneakers but I wanted the look to standout so I decided to pair with the western bootie. I would style the hair with cute beach waves as shown below (as seen on Pinterest.com).

Outfit #2:


For the second outfit I wanted to aim for something comfy and bohemian. I saw the peplum graphic tee and I had to pair with the camo skinny twill pants. To keep my boho look going I decided to tie the outfit together with Fringe Boot. I'm a huge fan of braids and if you go on pinterest you are sure to find several ideas. I included the hairstyle I thought went great with this outfit.

HIM:

For the boy I was aiming for that cool preppy look. I enjoy seeing a boy dressed with a button down shirt and my selection below was no exception. I think its a sleek look and can be used for all seasons. I chose the solid woven shirt that paired great with the striped chino. I than selected the slip on shoes because honestly in the morning when you're getting the kids ready you want easy shoes and these are perfect.

Outfit #2:

For my 2nd outfit I had envisioned the complete opposite of preppy. I first selected the Maddox pants because it had the texture and color I was looking for.
